You're responsible, sweet, gentle and lovable! You have a loving heart, a great respect for all creatures (human, great and small), and the ability to see the thing that makes each individual special. However, you tend to overlook the things that make you special, and thus, putting you in a position to be pushed around by others. Take some time everyday to reflect on your qualities, and see that you don't have to please everyone and still be loved for who you are. Which Love Hina Girl Are You?

An interesting outcome, more so in the sense that mike also got the same result.

Run Kim Run

Or 24 as it is more populary known. Im on the last disc of the 1st series and im wondering what that silly blonde bitch is going to do next, i mean she meats this rick guy who KIDNAPS her, then when she's free she goes to find him and gets caught in the middle of a drug deal (although it turns out to be a police set up anyway) THEN as she's being driven back to CTU (Criminal Terrorist Unit) HQ She's taken again. Where i dont know as thats as far as ive got up to so far but for fucks sake how does she manage to do it. Im sorry kim, i didnt mean to have a go, how i would love to stradle her lovely perk nipples.

I must stop watching 24 and Bo-Selecta. Also it may seem that im doing the wrong course at uni. Well ok my course is pretty cool and i enjoy it but after reading THIS i suddenly found myself thinking "oh, wish i could do that". Incase you dont know what i mean or for those dont care and arn't going to follow the link it regards the part of spending a year in japan in one of their universities. If "Love Hina" has taught me anything than i might be missing the oppurtunity of going to university and marrying the love of my life.

I believe in the philosophy of a ruling class, especially as i rule

Yesterday (wendesday) was my first day and it was cool. I was kept busy all day as there was a massive stock and price sheck to do but as i was busy the day went reasonable quick. So far the staff are pretty cool and dead easy to talk to which makes things alot easier and chilled out. Hopefully they'll keep me on till after christmas so not only will i have a cool ass job but 30% discount aswell as other benefits like free rental at blockbuster :)

After that i spent yesterday playing Rollar coaster tycoon till 2 in the morning which meant i got little sleep as i had to be up by 7 30am to get to uni and am subsequently really tired now so i think ill go watch "24" or read "Love Hina" for a bit.

congratulations and celebrat-ions

Yes Yes, well I'd like to thank my mum and family, also my friends and last but not least all of my cats. If you read Rays then you will already know that I got the job at gamestation in southport. Excellent news i thought and most worthy of blogging. It would have been cool of ray had got the aswell but alas... Anyways im pretty excited about it. I start on wednesday at 08:45 where up i shall recieve my gamestaion T shirts (sweet). This all came as sort of a suprise, i mean the interview did go really well and the manager, she seemed pretty cool but the thing that was bothering me was that i was half an hour late, i did however phone to let them know but i really did think that it would go against me. Well how wrong was I.

Aswell as that my phone also came (although two weeks late) and its feckin sweet. Its just the right size, and smaller and id lose it. To top of this goodfortune i also got into uni again. This time to do a pretty cool course called moving image which is basically how to make independent film. Theres also a screen writing element to go with that so with any luck it should be quite exciting.

It's been seven hours and 15 days

Also i broke up with my girlfriend of 15 months. Im not going to go into detail as i know atleast one family member who reads this blog :| I don't know if we will get back together or not but the most important thing is that were still friends.

And so to end on something not so depressing although it could be argued...spirited away. To those in the area around liverpool need i say more. I mean is liverpool or is it not the new european northwest capital of culture yet we seem to be lacking dont we, if its the capital of culture how can such and acclaimed film not be shown. I ask you why. We know that anime in this country is unprepresented but for gods sake this film, like ray said, has won numerous awards and is on blockbuster status so capital of culture or no capital of culture it should be showing in abundance. Seriously though im thinking of writing to the liverpool echo expressing my concern. Perhaps if we got an online petition (hint hint ). I dont know, as much as i love liverpool maybe it should be stripped of its title and let manchester have it? Ooooooohhh!

Orange trainers train Orange trainers to train Orange customers to train thier Orange phones thankyou!

Just ordered the sagem myx-6 from Orange. Should be here within 2 days but mike ordered the same phone a week ago and it still isn't here??? Nehoos the reason i had to order a new phone is because i splilt milk on my old one on saturday whilst at work. Coincidently i only said a few days earlier I can't be bothered buying a new one because this one still works. Fate it seems is not without a sense or irony.

Also gonna put some pics up real soon, hopefully of short film im making to try get into uni, i have two days to film and edit it all, leaving it all to the last minute despite the fact that ive had almost a week to do it. Meh...

'oly sheeet

If I did blog on a regular service then I would apologise but fuck it. So without further ado I bring you ”Marshall” a round up of the Leeds carling weekend, a week late.

Well things couldn’t have got off to a better start really after leaving some booze, food and disposable BBQ on coach then having to pay extortionate fares on the bus from the coach station to get there. But that was only half the miss fortune, once there Chris had a 2 litre bottle of lemonade explode all over him (he was using a knife to cut the tape keeping bottles together), the sausages got burnt after two minutes, fortunately though, my BBQin' skills came in handy and I made Birdseye burgers for all. However I did manage to go out on the Friday and spend £70 on a BBQ and food, the BBQ then got stolen, fortunately it was on the last day when we had finished using it anyway.

The only other bad thing to happen was to Tim who was unfortunate enough to have his tent stolen….then found it again 30 feet away in a neighbouring campsite! This, however, was not just a case of lost it found it. He decided to get angry and even said, though I’m sure not on purpose “You’ve never seen me angry”. Ok so its not exactly a quote but considering the conditions I found it amusing, Then again small things…small minds. Anyway, he decided to express his rage by roaming the campsite at 2 in the morning ripping up other people’s tents, followed by me trying to calm him down. He kicked off on some who had the same tent thinking it was his, needless to stay this guy didn’t hang around and was gone by the time we woke up in the morning.

Any-hoooo. The weekend was ace. Met up with loads of people and had a really good time, didn’t drink to much but smoked a lot of weed so J I’m kind of disappointed that I didn’t see more of the bands but often a lot of the bands I wanted to see where really close together or on at the same time. Also as a group we had to do what others wanted but I still got to see electric six, blink182, the end of placebos set, system of a down, metallica, good charlotte, blur, primal scream, death in Vegas and the cooper temple clause to name but a few. Needless to say a few minor injuries where obtained but not as bad as Tim who’s right leg is bruised and battered. Which sought of brings me to my next point.

During the weekend “X” amount of injuries occurred whilst in the main arena, perhaps most notably those that occurred during System Of A Down and Metallica. And despite there being thousands of people at the festival only a very very small amount where injured. I think the papers said something like 22. 22 out of thousands!! The point was raised about festivals being dangerous but the fact is that if you’re a fan of a band who’s music is heavy like system (who stopped the set when they realised someone was hurt (and the played thankyou by led zep which ricked)) metallica, you expect mosh pits to happen and if you don’t like them or don’t want to be in one then you don’t go near the front and I’ll put money on that the people injured realised there was a chance they could get hurt but wanted to be there. The point I’m trying to illustrate is that the small amount of people hurt where hurt as a result of them being in that situation voluntarily as opposed to the thousands of people who get run over by a car, robbed, INvoluntarily yet they say festivals are dangerous. Meh, I’m just ranting, anyway, topnotch weekend. Ill more than likely do it again next year. Also pictures to follow of skanky toilets.

give yourself to the dark side

Well after contemplating quitting my job and going back to education the company decided to make the decision for me as i was told that i was "not exceeding the companys expectations" as a rough quote, and fired my ass as one may call it. Im a little gutted seeing as i was planning on giving it up anyway and aswell as that there were some really nice people there but nevermind, i now in theory have the option of doing what i like. The problem is that i cant be arsed. I know how bad that really sounds but after being at uni, dropping out, working full time, i've just not had anytime to myself and foolishly im going back to work at the fair on saturday for a gruelling 9 hours. Oyski Bouyski!

hack the planet

Anoyingly a nastly little worm dug itself into my computer. It turned out to be an annoying virus going around at the moment called msblast. That atleast is sorted, unlike my net step in the big wide world.

Atleast the short term future looks to be entertaing. Two days ago i got my leeds festival tickets so combine them with my tent, a bottle of southern comfort im almost sorted for some serious festival(in). Almost anyway, still need train tickets to get there, food and disposable BBQ's. I also got family guy series one today completing my collection and a few days ago i got neon genesis evangelion for my birthday (cheers katie). Either way though ive really gotta sort something out for september, the question is what? Answers on a postcard

Listening to soulwax
Reading - high society - Ben Elton
Watching - Day time TV (Dharma and Gregg), family guy series 1 and 3, neon genesis evangelion
Playing - Zelda wind waker

This is big bro

An early birthday gift from my brother, Mr Tickle settles himself in to his new surroundings. Inspired by the infamous John Tickle from big brother i couldnt help but think of the big brother house filled with Mr Men (not to mention the mischievious Little Miss's) Mr tickle would obviously be make entertaining viewing, all be it for a potentionally short while, tickling people and annoying him before his exploits soon earned him an nomination. Miss Chatterbox is also an obvious choice, disturbing the piece with her constant need to speak and spread rumours (second to go), mr nosey obviously goes hand in hand. Mr Day Dream is another must, along with miss sunshine who could be the ditsy one (these two would obviously end up getting together).

Mr Tickle to the diary room

Mr Tickle settles himself in

Today, being off work through various reasons i decided that i should have a go at setting up my newly bought tent before making the trek to the Leeds festival.

my home for a weekend

It was straight forward enough to set up with a little help from my brother, packing it away was the hard part. Still after numerous attempts of unraveling and refolding i eventually managed to squeeze all the air out and get it back in the bag it came in, be it a rather tighter fit than it was. Still im all ready to go, all i need to finish my kit is a sleeping bag, bottled water, canna....cigarettes, alcohol, throwaway BBQ's and tickets (coming in post) and that about raps it up.

you do it to yourself, you do, and thats what really hurts

Well things are off to a confusing start. I desperatly need to make some serious decisions about what academic course to take. Fed up of working full time, i really want to go back to education. The problem being my two A2 level grades are only good enough to get me into universities i dont want to go to so the question is do i push and push and try get to JMU or do i go back to college for a year or two and improve on my poor exam grades and go back to uni after having plenty of time to decide on where to go and what to do. to illustrate that i am serious about all this i have go all the forms needed for ucas and for college and am currently collecting info on some courses that sound ok at jmu and thinking about arguments i can make in order for them to take me. The favorites so far being "please,go on, ill be your best mate" and "ill get my dad to batter your dad"

Its all so confusing, i pity the fool who doesnt do well in his exams the first time round.

Im late Im late

No this isnt the sound of a premiscuous teeneager 2 weeks late. I just mean im late in making the start i intended to on my blog, making the effort (to some extenct) to research my posts and possibly get round to designing my blog? We'll see on the latter point. There just doesnt seem to be the time to do anything anymore, especially with working during the day, although i may be quitting my apprenticeship to go back to college. I also need to hurry up and sign up to hometime so i can be on the net longer, this one atleast is definetly in the process, i just have to get a billing code from the next phone bill. Once thats done and a little free time becomes available i should get round to doing something hopefully interesting to read.

Other things to do is persuade some friends to come to the leeds festival, aswell as getting them to come out in liverpool instead of our hometown. I know there students and money is short but thats what its about, spending money you havent got and spending the little money you earn doing a seasonal job on enjoying yourself. grrrrrrr.

I need your clothes, your money and your.....err...er....LINE!

Just watched the third installment of the Terminator trilogy (T3) and despite not being very excited about it in terms of the hype and going in for it, watching with an open mind, i have to say that it was really ok. Ok so it was no Terminator 2 but that was over ten years ago and watching terminator when you are ten or elleven years old and thiking this is the coolest thing since turtles isnt gonna be the same as watching it as your fast approaching 20 and comparing it to its predecesor. However it does make satisyfying viewing and does lead on from the previous story quite well leaving it open at the end for another sequel and altogether is a good action film thats not tried to rip off the matrix.

One of the few things i do have to nit-pick about is the cheesyness of it, most notibly Arnies continous renditions of "im back", "hes back", "she'll be back". Aswell as being cheesy it isnt needed and is a bad attempt at including comedy in the film whilst also relying on the previous's film's success in order to make this one look as good/seem better. Arguably it also takes away some of the coolness factor but again, going back to the whole 11 year old thing, plus it might just be me readinginto it to deepl? But still despite this, like i mentioned it is a good film, highly watchable (atleast for one off). It wont be something i rush out to buy on dvd, ill just wait till its under a tenner at music zone. Definetly recomend taking some of that hard earned cash and spending it when it comes out at the cinema, go see. John conner will survive

As you can see i managed to get pictures from my digial camera on the web. Ill try not to bombard the site with pics but obviosly my new toy still has novelty value and i imagine it doing so for a while, the pictures below were just a few snippits i thought id share. All were taken at pleasureland, southport yesterday where i used to work (and sorta still do aswell as working full time during the week for roadrange mercedes benz) and still have many friends working there.

Yep, if you like working long gruelling hours without regular breaks and for pittance then this could be the job for you. Ive found that even though the place is falling apart at the seems its a great place to work, most of the people you work with tend to be friendly and the atmosphere at times can be great, i.e when everyone heads to the casablanca pub to spend their hard earned cash getting a wee bit tipsy. Everyone hates their job and the customers, especial the scals (annoying creatures, can usually be found wearing lacoste trackies and rebok classics) but it can be fun. Of course i didnt work for pleasureland as such, i worked on the games stalls as pictured.

diet pepsi

taking time out of her busy day, kirsty has a drink

Hours of hard gruelling labour fun - blagging kids and adults alike, stupid enough to part with their money with bonus's involved when you reach your target (they used to be higher last year, the bonus's that is). Good times, well apart from the long hours part, oh and i got sacked twice!

there... is.. another...(well there was)

Today saw the unfortunate death of another dreamcast, the second in less that a week, and in the same location no less. That location being sys bedroom (latest theory being that the house was build on an ancient mastersystem graveyard). Pictures will be released once forensics have a chance to look over them with a fine tooth comb, cross the t's and dot the...lower case j's.

i think i might just pee with excitement

(self titled)

Welcome to my new blog which will hopefully be alot more interesting, entertaining, witty and engrossing than myprevious blog (if it ever was). My aim with this one is to include reviews of all my dvds (boasting over a hundred titles) and anything i may be doing, reading, general dribble and anything which may be on my mind.

In the meantime today me and my brother split the cost on a brand new, spankingly good sony TRV19E digital camcorder which also doubles up as a digital camera so expect pics soon(ish). It was a choice between a panasonic one for exactly the same price but we went for the sony one for the better lens. Its relatively easy to use and pretty light and has a lcd touchscreen for all mneu options rather than having buttons all over the show. If i get round to learning and doing it, ill be putting up some short movie clips when and if i get my own domain.

Ive also just invested wisely in a brand spanking new pc from Ronal (mmmmm), so no doubt alot of wasted hours will be spent here at my desk watching the world spinning gently out of time, just like the old days (mike n chris ;) ) The next big spend will probably be on leeds tickets to the carling weekend if i can get enough people to come and tickets havent already sold out (i should go and check now really). so until i have something new to write...heres to the future and entertaining blogging...
